Introduction

Horticulture lighting is applied to the cultivation of greenhouse fruits and vegetables, horticultural flowers, and other plants. Its main features are photosynthetic photon efficiency (PPE) and photosynthetic photon flux (PPF) and its wavelengths include 450 nm (blue light), 660 nm (deep red light), and 730 nm (far-red light). These combinations will vary with its life cycle; the primary reason is to increase the period of photosynthesis or to control the blossom results and life cycle.  High-power products applied to horticulture lighting (wavelength: 660 nm) has output power exceeding 440 mW under 350 mA operating current at chip-form, and a wall-plug efficiency (WPE) performance of 70% after packaging.
